生於農家，父母言教、身教即以務實、負責為首要，因此在成長歷程中，即以此四字為勉。求學過程中得到不少師長的幫忙與鼓勵，因此，一路走來還算順利。大學時，對教學工作頗有興趣，曾以當國中教師為志向，也兼了家教工作。然而，隨著對基礎醫學和復健醫學的暸解增加，對醫學的興趣也隨之增加，轉而希望從事與醫學相關的工作。但對教學工作的興趣仍未減。又有感於基礎醫學的重要性，乃報考了國防醫學院生物及解剖學研究所。研究所期間，跟隨王天美教授從事 “骨質疏鬆症”方面的研究與探討，感謝王教授的悉心指導而讓我在此一領域有更深一層的認識與瞭解。
目前從事教學工作。有感於從事教學工作應理論與實務並重，因此致力於臨床工作，努力學習臨床經驗，與所學相印證，並隨時吸收新知，充實自己，期能一展所學，以求教學相長。教學工作是自己多年來的夢想，總是希望能把自己所學貢獻出來，與人砌磋，更求精益求精。臨床上能幫助的人有限，若能將自己所學貢獻出來給有心人，則能幫助更多需要幫助的人。所謂「工欲善其事，必先利其器」，因此，除了珍惜這種機會之外，另一方面也不忘充實自己。若有機會的話，也希望能出國進修，更上一層樓。
對於我的人生，始終以認真負責的態度來面對，以求不負我心。對於未來的規劃，期許自己在醫學這一領域下功夫而能有所得，進而能貢獻所學。
After graduation from college, I served as a clinical physiotherapist for three years, and then as a lecturer in the rehabilitation department for 13 years. This means that I have had 16 years of experience in the theory and practice of rehabilitation. In this time, I have acquired much knowledge and many skills, but I still feel that I need to learn more.
I graduated from the Department of Rehabilitation at Chung Shan Medical and Dental College in 1993. I then went on to the Institute of Biology and Anatomy at National Defense Medical Center, from which school I graduated in 1995. Between 1995 and 1998, I worked as a physiotherapist in hospitals, before going on to teach at Tzu Chi College of Technology as a lecturer. In time, I transferred to Jen Te Junior College of Medical Nursing Management, where I continue to serve as a lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
Having learned about as much as I can in my present work, I feel the need more than ever before to engage once again in formal academic study. It is essential for teachers with my specialization to have the latest knowledge, since such knowledge is constantly progressing and new developments are occurring each day. I will certainly work enthusiastically to complete my studies, and I will use what I learn in a practical way when I return to my teaching work and share my knowledge and experience with my students.
